To create more traffic to your public page add a social media button beside Facebook, Twitter etc. buttons on your web site.

The download button gives you the full set to choose from. Or right click the individual button and “Save Image As”

Your web administrator is welcome to edit a button to match your site – as long as the shape and orientation of the dolphin is maintained.  Alternatively send us a link to your website and we will create a matching button for you.

Use local directories like Google Maps or Yellow Pages to search for organisations that meet your criteria.   Send the message below either by an email or their site Contact Form.   Include a link to your public page so they see you are real and hoping for action.

 

In the subject if you can replace “your organisation” with the pasted name of the business you will capture greater attention.

Use the button set at the bottom of your public page to share on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +, Pinterest, Reddit and WhatsApp. Add a message inviting your friends to visit and follow your page.

The Dolphin icon in that set will share the link to your feed – use it when you make changes to your page. BUT the Dolphin button has a more important roll for your business. Download it and add to your website’s social media links. Browsers will click and follow your public page.

Use local directories like Google Maps or Yellow Pages to search  hotels, homestays, bed and breakfast, apartments, holiday parks and hostels.   Go to their actual websites – avoid the booking platforms.  Then send the message below either by their Contact Form (preferred) or the email address on their site.  If Facebook, send it as a message. 

 

If the Contact Form requires a phone number enter “not entered”.  If that is not accepted enter “+61 2 8003 4143”.

 

Make your sign off simply:  First Name, Volunteer for Plastic Free Oceans.   It’s unlikely you will get a negative response.  If so simply ignore it – don’t get into an exchange.

The platform recently launched and schools are enthusiastic about the concept.  So early 2019 will see a campaign to all schools across Australia and NZ.  With the message for kids to encourage their parents to prefer hotels and other services listed on Plastic Free Oceans.  So be sure your business is one of the first on the map in your area.

These are important because they are very proactive in connecting with people.  Use local directories like Google Maps or Yellow Pages to search for travel agents, spas, dive operations, boat and other leisure hires, amusement parks and other holiday activities.  Send the message below either by an email address on their site or their Contact Form.  If Facebook, add the message there as well. 

 

If the Contact Form requires a phone number enter “not entered”.  If that is not accepted enter “123456789” and add this message to the bottom of the text you enter.  “The phone number I entered is not correct because we are volunteering and do not offer a call back service.  Please refer to the website.”
